Appropriate Carolina Actors Action Network (CAAN) is an association of professional actors in the Carolinas and beyond.

The purpose of CAAN is to enhance and improve the skills and craft of the on-camera working actor. A further stated purpose is to assist actors in typing themselves and marketing what skills, they have appropriately.

This may be accomplished many ways, including but not limited to: Marketing Techniques, Improved techniques when working with a camera, Networking opportunities, articles, regular meetings, and intensive workshops.

Although stage actors may join the group, the emphasis of what we do is placed on "on-camera" work.

All this and more with an emphasis to keep costs to the actor to nothing or very little.
